The Blues were held to a goalless draw away at Norwich City in the FA Cup at the weekend. This has set up a replay for Chelsea making their fixture list more congested.

This came after their 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League, this mid week the two London club will face each other in the League Cup semi finals. Chelsea will be hoping the home advantage puts the first leg tie in their favour.

Not minding the weekend disappointment, Chelsea are still in good form. They are yet to lose any of the last 8 competitive games, having won 5 of them. At home, they really unbeaten in last 11 competitive games, while they have won 9. They will be confident or get some results on Wednesday.

Arsenal come into this game from a 4-2 loss against Nottingham Forest in the 3rd round of FA Cup. This was humiliating defeat for the Cup holders though they made a lot changes in their squad for the game.

Arsenal are not having the best of seasons, they wars winless in 3 games in all competitions and are 6th in the league table. This game looks to be their only hope for silverware this season.

Away from home, the Gunners have a very poor performance, having won just 5 out of their 15 away games, losing 6 times which includes against Liverpool and Manchester City.
